About the Role
Looking for reliable work with great daily rates and true flexibility? Pegasus Couriers, an official Delivery Service Partner for Evri, is looking for hard-working independent delivery drivers to join our growing North East team.
Whether you’re an experienced courier or looking to break into the delivery business, we provide the consistent routes, structured support, and steady weekly income you need to succeed.
What You’ll Earn & How It Works
- Daily Rates: Earn a guaranteed £164 base rate per day.
- Fuel Allowance: Earn up to an extra £30 per day in route-based zone fuel supplements, bringing your potential to 191 GBP za dzień.
- Consistent Income: Work up to 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) for weekly pay delivered straight to your bank account every Friday via BACS.
- Independence: As a self-employed sole trader, you enjoy schedule autonomy within your daily delivery window. (New to self-employment? Don’t worry—our team can guide you through registering for HMRC Self Assessment!)
Your Typical Day
- The Schedule: 6-day availability (Monday–Saturday), with routes averaging around 9 hours.
- Start Times: Flexible start windows between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM (route schedules emailed to you every Friday).
- Parcels & Routes: Handle between 60 to 250 parcels a day. We focus on realistic time management rather than impossible volume targets.
- Local Macro-Zones: You’ll be assigned regular local zones to keep your fuel usage low and your driving efficient.
Where We Operate
We cover designated regional hubs right across North East England, so you can work close to home:
- Tyne and Wear: Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, South Shields, Benton, Newburn.
- Durham & Northumberland: Durham, Bishop Auckland, Stanley, Seaham, Hexham, Ashington.
- Tees Valley: Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Hartlepool, Redcar, Teesside.
What You Need to Apply
- A valid driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
