Four Years Of Steering the Depot To Success
It’s an exciting month for Pegasus Couriers because our Inverness depot is celebrating its fourth anniversary!
Can you believe it?
Time flies when you’re delivering parcels.
The delivery station has become the go-to hub for the Highlands, with officially opening its doors back in 2019, just a few months before the whole Covid-19 madness started.
Fast forward to 2021, Pegasus Couriers took over the depot. As someone who’s been involved from the very beginning, I can proudly say that our depot efficiently dispatches over 12,000 parcels every single day.
Impressive, huh?
Not only do we handle our own deliveries, but we also serve as a collection point for several other couriers.
Our team has grown to over 80 dedicated delivery drivers in the Scottish Highlands. Talk about expansion! Our daily routes cover various areas across North Scotland, and we’re always on the lookout for new places to conquer.
Now, here’s where the magic happens.
Our depot receives truckloads of pre-sorted parcels from Edinburgh, most of which arrives by 10am.
Once those packages touch down at our depot, they’re prepared for delivery. Our drivers are then assigned their routes and off they go, ready to bring smiles to people’s faces by delivering their goodies on time.
Of course, we couldn’t make all of this happen without a fantastic team. We’ve got depot managers and a dedicated yard on-site, working tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. Trust me, they’re the real most valuable players when it comes to minimising any daily hiccups.
Looking ahead, we’ve got big plans for expanding our operations in the Highlands. We’re always on the lookout for new opportunities, and we firmly believe that this region has incredible potential for growth. The sky’s the limit!
